Marriage Licenses

The recorder's office issues marriage licenses daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Marriage License fee is $28 must be paid in cash.

18 Years of Age & Older


Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
  • Photo Identification: Government issued identification is preferred.
  • Social security numbers: If you have not been issued a social security number you must present a letter from Social Security stating that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth certificate.

17 or 16 Years of Age


Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
  • Photo Identification: Government issued identification is preferred.
  • Social security numbers: If you have not been issued a social security number you must present a letter from Social Security stating that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth certificate
  • A parent must be present to sign a consent form for the under age person or persons. The parent must also provide identification.

Younger Than 16 Years of Age


Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
  • You must obtain a court order from a magistrate judge authorizing you to be married.
  • Photo Identification: Government issued identification is preferred.
  • Social security numbers: If you have not been issued a social security number you must present a letter from Social Security stating that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth certificate.
  • A parent must be present to sign a consent form for the under age person or persons. The parent must also provide identification.

Wedding Ceremony


A Judge, Mayor or Minister can perform the wedding ceremony. You will need to contact these people early so you will be placed on their calendar.
