WHERE TO APPLY FOR YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE

The recorder’s office issues marriage licenses.
Marriage licenses are issued daily from 8:30 to 4:30
Marriage License fee is $28.00 and the payment must be cash. |
IF YOU ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER
|
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
- Photo Identification. Government issued identification is preferred.
- Social security numbers. If you have not been issued a social security
number you must present a letter from Social Security stating that you have
not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth
certificate.

IF YOU ARE 17 OR 16 YEARS OF AGE
|
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
- Photo Identification. Government issued identification is preferred.
- Social security numbers. If you have not been issued a social
security number you must present a letter from Social Security stating
that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your
certified birth certificate
- A parent must be present to sign a consent form for the under age
person or persons. The parent must also provide identification.

IF YOU ARE YOUNGER THAN 16 YEARS OF AGE
|
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
- You must obtain a court order from a magistrate judge authorizing you to
be married.
- Photo Identification. Government issued identification is preferred.
- Social security numbers. If you have not been issued a social security
number you must present a letter from Social Security stating that you have
not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth
certificate.
- A parent must be present to sign a consent form for the under age person
or persons. The parent must also provide identification.

WHO CAN PERFORM THE WEDDING CEREMONY? |
Judge, Mayor or Minister. You will need to contact these people
early so you will be placed on their calendar.
