Residential & Commercial Construction (New
& Additions)
|
- Copy of the Legal Description of the property.
- Plot plan (Plan of Lot or parcel showing location of
proposed & existing structures).
- 2 full complete sets of plans drawn to scale for new
residential or commercial projects. Plans to include:
- Plot plan
- Foundation plan
- Floor plan (including window and door
schedule)
- Elevations
- Wall cross sectional
- Floor and roof framing plans
- Size of building.
- Use of the building.
- Septic System permit or copy of receipt from City for the
utilities hook up fees paid. (Septic & Water System Permits available at South Central
Health District-Ste. #15, behind Minidoka Memorial Hospital)

Small Residential Additions, Shops, Storages etc.
|
- Name and address of owner. (Legal description of recently
purchased
- Plot plan. (Plan of Lot or parcel showing location of
proposed and existing structures)
- Wall cross sectional. (Some forms are available in the
building department)
- Size of building.
- Use of Building.
|
Uses not requiring a permit
|
- Single story storage buildings, 120 Sq. ft. and under.
- Fences not over 6 feet high.
- Movable partition walls not over 5 feet 9 inches in height.
- Retaining walls less than 4 feet in height.
- Water tanks above grade if capacity does not exceed 5000
gallons.
- Driveways, walkways, and poured concrete patios if future
construction is not anticipated.
- Painting, wallpapering & similar finish work.

Separate plumbing and electrical permits are required when it
is part of your construction project. |
