Anyone wishing to try out for Minidoka County Rodeo Queen, Sr. Princess or Jr. Princess, call Kaylee Frandsen at 208-251-5220 or the Fair Office at 436-9748. There will be a sign-up meeting on June 24th at 7:00 PM in the McGregor Building.

The Minidoka County Fair Grounds are located at 85 East Baseline Road, in Rupert, Idaho. It is a highly diversified facility. Events include: chariot races, high school rodeos, Hispanic rodeos, carnival and horse races during the July 4th celebration, rabbit shows, Idaho State Horse Show Assn. show, snaffle bit shows, posse meets, auctions, miscellaneous sales, Minico High School FFA Ag-Expo, Minico High School Graduation Celebration, antique tractor pulls, Jr. Rodeo, Team Sorting and the County Fair. Buildings and facilities can be rented by businesses and organizations.

The County Fair includes: rodeo, horse shows, free entertainment, food booths, Lions BBQ, lawn mower races, all kinds of fair exhibits, including 4-H/FFA projects of all kinds, 4-H/FFA livestock auction, Jr. Rodeo and Team Sorting, and Open Class exhibits of every description.

Any age can enter items in the Open Class Departments to be judged. For information on entering call (208)436-9748
