Marriage Licenses
The recorder's office issues marriage licenses daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Marriage License fee is $28.00.
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:

A Judge, Mayor, or Minister can perform the wedding ceremony. You need to contact these people early to ensure that you will be placed on their calendar.

18 Years of Age & Older
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
- Photo Identification: Government issued identification is preferred.
- Social security number: If you have not been issued a social security number you must present a letter from Social Security Administration stating that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth certificate.
- Proof of age: Government issued identification or a certified birth certificate.
17 or 16 Years of Age
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
- Photo Identification: Government issued identification is preferred.
- Social security number: If you have not been issued a social security number you must present a letter from Social Security Administration stating that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth certificate
- A parent must be present to sign a consent form for the under age person or persons. The parent must also provide identification.
- Proof of age: Government issued identification or a certified birth certificate.
Younger Than 16 Years of Age
Both the Bride and Groom must appear and present to the clerk:
- You must obtain a court order from a magistrate judge authorizing you to be married.
- Photo Identification: Government issued identification is preferred.
- Social security number: If you have not been issued a social security number you must present a letter from Social Security Administration stating that you have not been issued a number and you must also present your certified birth certificate.
- A parent must be present to sign a consent form for the under age person or persons. The parent must also provide identification.
- Proof of age: Government issued identification or a certified birth certificate.
