A concealed weapons permit allows you to carry a weapon in public in a concealed manner. as of July 1, 2016, Idaho Statute (18-3302) states that a resident who is 21 years of age and not disqualified from having a permit, can carry a concealed weapon statewide without obtaining a permit.
There are two different types of concealed permits that the state offers: Basic Concealed Permit and Enhanced Concealed Permit. The only difference between the two is that the Enhanced Concealed covers 7 more states than the Basic Concealed.
