The Minidoka County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Legal Secretary/Victim-Witness Coordinator. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including PERSI retirement. Duties and responsibilities include legal secretarial duties designed to assist in the legal services provided by the office, and to coordinate and manage assistance to victims and witnesses of crime, performing related duties. Candidates must have prior experience with modern computer operations and programs, and of office practices and procedures, and be capable of creating, using, and maintaining a wide variety of documents and records within a legal office setting.  Interpersonal communication is essential to the position, as is the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships.  Though not required, prior experience with and knowledge of civil and criminal law, and of victim-witness programs is preferred.  Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.  


Salary: DOE, plus comprehensive benefits package including PERSI retirement 

 

Classified: Full-Time Regular 

 

Location: Rupert, Minidoka County, Idaho
