[ARCHIVED] Job Opening for Emergency Communication Officer (Dispatcher)

The Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office is currently accepting applications for Emergency Communication Officer (Dispatcher). We offer medical, eye and dental benefits along with PERSI Retirement. The primary function of this position is to answer emergency and non-emergency calls and to relay that information to police, fire and emergency services quickly and accurately, prioritize calls and enter data into a CAD operating system in a fast-paced environment. The entry level pay is $15 hourly, and DOE is $16.25 hourly. An application can be obtained at the Minidoka County Sheriff’s Office (724 H St, Rupert, Idaho) or retrieved by clicking Sheriff’s Office Application. Applications can be turned in no later than September 30th at 1700 hours.
