Mail / Phone Calls

Mail

All residents may receive letters through the mail, as well as send letters to family and friends. Letters may not be sent to or received from other jails or detention centers, or any person known to be on probation. The Detention Center will pay postage on 5 outgoing letters per week.

Telephone Calls

All residents will have access to a telephone and are allowed to make/receive a total of 3 calls per week. Residents are only allowed to call parents, grandparents, and verified legal guardians. The Detention Center Director must specifically authorize phone calls to any other person. Calls to and from probation officers and attorneys are not included in the three weekly calls.
